Get to know Emillie ...

In my practice, I aim to create an accepting and compassionate space for you to explore challenging experiences, process emotions, share your story, and nurture meaningful connections with yourself and others.

I'm here to provide you with a supportive environment that is centered on curiosity and respect. Together, we will navigate through anxiety, emotional fluctuations, relationship conflicts, trauma (including vicarious trauma), and moments of self-discovery.

I specialize in helping individuals manage stress, navigate life changes, overcome perfectionism, and cope with anxiety. My focus is on supporting BIPOC individuals, including first and second-generation Canadians, as they navigate the complexities of racial and cultural identity and heal from childhood or intergenerational traumas.

My work is grounded in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and transformative justice principles and is informed by my lived experiences as a Filipino-Canadian woman of colour. I prioritize your cultural values, individual positionalities, and identities with client-centred, relational, and holistic methods. Drawing from various therapeutic techniques such as mindfulness/somatic practices, psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), I tailor our sessions to meet your specific needs.

I hope that our work together creates a space where you feel truly heard and supported, nurturing lasting transformations in your genuine self-awareness and self-love.

If what I've written resonates, feel free to reach out to schedule an initial consultation—I'm looking forward to meeting you!
