Get to know Alexandra ...
Alexandra is a Registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. Additionally, Alexandra also holds a Honors Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology from McMaster University.
Alexandra has been supporting children, youth, and families since 2012 in a variety of settings including residential care in Mexico, foster care, community mental health agencies, and private practice.

Alexandra describes herself as using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach while drawing from a blend of eclectic and holistic approaches. Alexandra specializes in techniques from Play and Art Based Therapies, including Bibliotherapy and Sand Tray Therapy. Alexandra also draws on skills from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Alexandra has received client feedback that she is calm, warm, and empathetic. Alexandra is creative in her approach to develop personalized and developmentally appropriate treatment plans. Alexandra works closely with parents throughout the therapeutic journey to provide a safe, non-judgmental space while providing evidence-based parent coaching. Alexandra is motivated by her clients to continually grow and strengthen her practice and feels honoured to walk alongside your family on this journey.​
